Canadian Blind Hockey is pleased to announce that we are once again expanding our program opportunities by hosting two summer camps this year. First, the Canadian Blind Hockey Children and Youth Multi-Sport Camp will take place at the W Ross MacDonald School for the Blind in Brantford, ON from August 9 – 13, then the Canadian Blind Hockey Summer Development Camp will take place in Mississauga, ON from August 16 – 20. We anticipate a combined 100 players from almost every province in Canada to take part in our summer camps in what will surely be one of the highlights of the summer and set you up for a successful 2023 – 24 season!

Roster spots in both camps are limited and will be awarded in the order we receive the pre-registrations. To secure your spot please complete the pre-registration link below. Those who pre-register will receive an email in the next two weeks with a full information package as well as the invite to complete the final registration through PowerUp Sports.

Canadian Blind Hockey is a charity that remains committed to removing barriers for Canadians who are blind or partially sighted to participate in Canada’s national winter sport. 2023 Canadian Blind Hockey Children and Youth Multi-Sport Camp

Brantford, ON. August 9 – 13.

The third Children and Youth Multi-Sport Camp will include one hour and a half of skating and hockey each morning, followed by one or two additional sport opportunities each afternoon such as: Goalball, Five-a-Side Soccer, Beep Baseball / Beep Kickball, Tandem Cycling, Rowing, Athletics, Swimming, Judo, Golf, etc. The camp is open to children and youth from ages 6 – 17, and no prior skating or hockey experience is required. 2023 Canadian Blind Hockey Summer Development Camp
Mississauga, ON. August 16 – 20.

The eighth annual Summer Development Camp is open to Blind Hockey players who are old enough to participate in adult programming and possess enough skating and hockey skills to participate in practices and games. Players who have previously participated in the Low Vision & Development, Open or Select Divisions of the Canadian Blind Hockey Tournaments are eligible. For youth players 14+ who are interested in attending camp please contact Program Director Luca DeMontis to discuss eligibility. The Development Camp will have up to 68 players in two divisions, and players will participate in seven ice times over four days including both practices and games.
