Canadian Blind Hockey developed a Girls & Women’s program stream with a series of events, and we announced the first in-person Girls and Women’s Blind Hockey Summit in 2022. We are always looking to recruit new girls and women to Blind Hockey programs across Canada and are proud of the work of our Girls and Women’s Coordinator Laura Mark and Ambassador Natalie Spooner.
The 3rd annual 2024 Girls and Women’s Summit:
The 3rd annual Girls and Women’s Blind Hockey Summit will certainly be the biggest and best summit yet, as we are working with PWHL Toronto to ensure an unforgettable experience! The summit will feature three ice times – Thursday, March 21 from 7:00 am – 8:00 am and then 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, as well as a feature game on Friday, March 22 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm. More information will be sent out to those who register for the summit.
The majority of the players in the Women’s Division can also play co-ed in Youth, Low Vision & Development, and Open Divisions. This allows an opportunity for players who would like to participate in Nationals but do not want to compete in a co-ed setting.
