The 2024 Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament takes place between March 22 – 24 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre – the former Maple Leaf Gardens – in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  The event is brought to you by the CNIB Foundation, and made possible by national partners AMI, the Daniel Family Foundation, Electra Health, and Manion.

The 2024 Canadian National Blind Hockey Tournament marks the 10th anniversary of the event which has grown from 45 players in 2013 to over 200 players and coaches last year! We invite the entire Canadian and world-wide Blind Hockey community to come celebrate the 10th anniversary of the biggest Blind Hockey event on the planet, as we expect representatives from all 10 Canadian provinces and six countries world-wide.

THIS YEAR’S HIGHLIGHTS:

  • In addition to the National Tournament, Canadian Blind Hockey is thrilled to be hosting the 3rd annual Girls & Women’s Blind Hockey Summit, as well as our Children and Youth Multi-Sport Camp both taking place on Thursday, March 21.  This year’s summit will be held in partnership with PWHL Toronto – Toronto really is the center of the Blind Hockey universe!

 

  • The weekend will celebrate the Tournament’s 10th anniversary with a Canadian Blind Hockey All-Star Celebrity game Friday, March 22 featuring players and alumni across the NHL and other leagues and the first ten players named to the 2024 Canadian National Blind Hockey Team!

 

  • Women’s Blind Hockey Showcase game on Friday March 22 at 5:30pm. This is following an exciting week of girls & women’s Blind Hockey with a special Girls & Women’s Blind Hockey night at the PWHL Wednesday March 20th and the Women’s Summit in partnership with the PWHL Thursday March 21! 

 

  • We will host a Select Series which will help to determine the remaining players to be named to the 2024 Canadian National Blind Hockey team, ahead of the International Ice Hockey series vs Team USA in St-Louis April 12 – 14 2024.

The event take place at the Mattamy Athletic Centre – the former Maple Leaf Gardens – and is free and open to the public to attend and will be streamed live on the Canadian Blind Hockey YouTube Channel.
