Children’s and Youth Try Skating & Blind Hockey School Field Trips

Our Try Skating & Blind Hockey school field trips are one-day introductory programs where students aged 4–18 who are blind or partially sighted come to an arena, meet peers who share the same disability, learn about hockey, sport, and the Paralympic movement — and of course try skating and Canada’s national winter sport.

We typically run 15–30 of these programs across Canada every year. No previous skating or hockey experience is required.
